Please see the attached flyer for more details about the RSVP and location. Light refreshments served!<\/p>\n<p>Hemispheric South\/s is excited to announce an upcoming event with Deborah Miranda, author of\u00a0<em>Bad Indians: A Tribal Memoir<\/em>\u00a0(2013),\u00a0<em>The Zen of La Llorona<\/em>(2005), and\u00a0<em>Indian Cartography<\/em>\u00a0(1999). Miranda is currently the John Lucian Smith Term Professor of English at Washington and Lee University.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Allison Adelle Hedge Coke Poetry Workshop<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>On\u00a0Friday, January 30\u00a0from\u00a01:30-4 p.m.\u00a0in the HSSB McCune Conference room.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop is part of a two-day visit co-sponsored by the Interdisciplinary Humanities Center and the American Indian and Indigenous Peoples Research Focus Group at UCSB.
