The Theatrical Jazz Creation Lab: Blue Gold & Butterflies<\/em><\/strong>,<\/em> a live convening in the Spring of 2025 that brings together Theatrical Jazz practitioners and students to prepare and perform segments of Blue Gold & Butterflies<\/em> by Stephanie Leigh Batiste. This creative form combines multidisciplinary improvisational performance modes to stage narrative and lyrical text, voicing, drama, and movement. The Theatrical Jazz Creation Lab provides an opportunity for practice, improvisation, and experimentation with non-traditional text and performance.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
